About Industrial Cranes

Jib cranes mount on walls or floors and consist of a horizontal beam (jib) upon which a shuttle or hoist is mounted. Floor or foundation-mounted jib cranes have higher load ratings than wall-mounted cranes. A cantilevered jib crane can incorporate full or partial rotation.

Terminology.

It will be helpful if you know some of the following but don't worry if you don't, call us and an engineer will be able to help.

1. We will need to know the safe working load (SWL) of the jib crane you require.

2. The height to the underside of the arm will be useful, as will the jib cranes arm length.

3. Do you want a free standing or a wall mounted jib crane.

4. Will you want new or used. Used chain hoist and new swing jib for example.
